StackExchange has some great people: Kusalanada, Stephen Kitt, terdon, Stéphane Chazelas, illkachu, Stephen Ostermiller, Steffen Ulrich, Thomas Ward, Shawn Conn and others.
Not many people spoke to me in email, in private "where no one (not their god at least) watches both sides" as ungrateful, disrespectful, violent and disgusting as some shmock/s from the StackExchange team (which didn't even gave organizational details about herself/himself) so to lower the chance that this community would become too similar to StackExchange:
- Please don't assume that anyone you speak with here is a native speaker of English (let along American English) or at least speaks general English well like you
- Please don't assume that anyone you speak with here had the honor and/or the resources to study accurate sciences such as Math/Physics/Chemistry/Biology as you had
- Please remember that if we don't use this website to make the world a better place, there is a great question mark if the time we give here is really justified
- Please consider to pledge your support for removing the redundant frustration generating and redundant hostility generating reputation system and not supporting any reputation system at all (there are much better ways to give feedback and handle a community)
Anyone who came here to be an elitist (and for example has much knowledge in mathematics but feels great downvoting questions about the foundations of mathematics) destroys this community at least in the long run.
